I was asked to make 3 different cakes for a woman's children for a group birthday party. I had fun making each cake specifically for each child. Although I've done Blue's Clues and Mario before they always come out different and I love that!

Cowboy Cake
This is a cake from this past weekend. I had a lot of fun making a western/cowboy cake. The bandanna and the cowboy boots were a new challenge and I am so thankful that I am able to learn new techniques. I also thought the western landscape was a fun way to incorporate with the whole cowboy theme.

Finally Home
After lots of driving, lots of walking and lots of staying in hotels....we have made it home! We all had a blast at Disneyland and I'll admit that Blizzcon wasn't too bad either but it is so nice to be home. Now I just have to get back into the swing of things!

Baby Shoes
Since I didn't have any cakes until the weekend I decided to try something different. I made baby sneakers and baby crocs. They aren't perfect but for my first attempt I think they came out decent. Can't wait to try making them again!

Welcome Baby Ashlynn!
I love the baby shoes on this cake! They took me a while to get perfect but they are just too adorable!

Princess Peach and Yoshi Cake
This is my third Mario related cake this year....which I love! Anyone who knows me knows I have a slight obsession with Mario (especially Super Mario Bros. 3!). With this cake they wanted a Princess Peach and Yoshi. I love how them came out (although Yoshi is a tad bit darker than he should be).
