Princess Peach and Yoshi Cake

This is my third Mario related cake this year....which I love! Anyone who knows me knows I have a slight obsession with Mario (especially Super Mario Bros. 3!). With this cake they wanted a Princess Peach and Yoshi. I love how them came out (although Yoshi is a tad bit darker than he should be).

I kept seeing these neat sugar cookies while surfing cake sites. So I decided to give it a try and I loved it! There are some really neat things you can do with cookies. Here is what I have made so far and tons more to come!

I want to take a minute to say welcome and thank you so much for looking at my new blog! I have been offering my cake services to the wonderful people of the Fort Hood area for a couple months now and thought I would finally start a blog to give you a kind of "behind-the-scenes" of what I do every week. I make at least 1-2 cakes a week and when I'm not busy I venture out into the world of cupcakes and cookies! I have always loved baking and decorating but just recently decided to go for it and start "full-time"...or at least as much as I can with 2 little ones! I hope that you come back and check for more posts soon. I am always doing something in the kitchen and would love the chance to share it with you!
